The Sky Stones Trails lead upward to the top of the canyon, where rock arches form sheltered areas. There is one particular tall arch that you can walk up to, and it feels as though you can touch the sky. The food here is sparse, but there is a trail leading down to the river for water. |

The Adobe Caves The walls are made of adobe mud here, and there are massive networks of tunnels leading through the adobe. The hard, thick mud acts as insulation, keeping it at a steady temperature all year long. Be careful, though, as many a horse has lost it's life by getting lost in the tunnels. |

Crumbling Cliffs The northern part of the canyon is littered with trails leading up and down the cliff side. There are several trails that lead to small coves that are full of vegetation and small streams. Be careful, though, because the wrong path will lead you to your death. The cliffs are always crumbling away, and sometimes it takes just one step on a soft spot to send you plummeting. |

The Golden Caves There is a huge, rushing river that runs straight through the canyon. In one portion of the river, there are large, flat stepping stones. they can sometimes be slippery when the river is high, but a careful horse can leap across to make it to the caves on the other side. Inside the caves, the walls are bright golden sandstone, and there is a sheltered area where the grass grows green. |
